In Venezuela, underworld has turned into a government system where attackers execute skimping on camouflage and under absolute… everyday nature. Fear is generated in a cynical manner and deviously, from that, collective thought which is far from solving the problem… is created: “don´t go out after this/that time”, “don´t take out your cellphone in public ´cause they´re gonna steal it from you”, “he was robbed for being stupid”, “who told you to use your tablet while being outside home?... that´s why they robbed you”, “where are you exactly? Please, let me know once you arrive”, “I better buy two, just in case one of them is robbed”, “Did you hear they killed (someone) yesterday?”, “Yeah, near my place (someone) was kidnapped”, “You must be thankful they just steal it from you, you could have been murdered”, “There are people who get it worst”, “…”
This work has been presented before at the assembly La Situación 2016, held in Cuenca, Spain.
